Hello all,

I just noticed I hadn't made a front page post in regards to the changes that has been going on with the engine.

If you are regular browser of both this site and the Ogre forums, you would have noticed that there has been some leaps and bounds on the engine!
- We have spritzed up the terrain mesh so that there is greater detail now.
- The terrain shader is still very basic but looks a bit more natural.
- We have waves!!! Yes, we now have 3D rolling waves on our shore lines!

From the link below, you should be able to see a video of what our engine is like before the wave update.

Now here is with a wave update;

However this video doesn't illustrate the 3D nature of the waves... We will get a video of that up shortly.

You have probably noticed the new pictures being displayed on the side as we have put up 9 new images in the gallery... These are of course, without the waves.
Head over there to check them out.

Stay tuned, more updates flowing soon.

As mentioned the other day, I was going to put through a little update just so that you know we aren't just idling.

Ladies and gentleman, I present to you, The Phoenix.

PhoenixWF Phoenix

The Phoenix will be our primary flight vehicle during early testing stages. Designed specifically for that purpose as it would only be a Short Ranged Recon Craft.

Click HERE to download the full resolution image (1280x960), or jump over to the GALLERY to view it there.

Have a nice day!

Server Down Time PDF Print E-mail

After a couple days of down time... We are back up and running!

I wish I had some updates for you in regards to our progress, however I have nothing except that we are still working and it is looking better and better each day.

In the next couple days, I will upload some renders of a personal space craft that will be the test ship for the next engine release.

No, I have no ideas as to when that will be :)
Every time we complete a feature on the task list, we find a way of improving or doing it differently that is more efficient... So we keep setting ourselves back.
That's progress right?

Anyway, I hope to have an update in a couple days :)

Server Change PDF Print E-mail
Written by Garth Campbell
Saturday, 03 April 2010 00:16

As some of you have noticed, there has been connectivity issues with the website.

We hope this issue has been resolved with a server move that will allow us to track better what is happening on the back end.

There was evidence to point towards attempted breach of our database.
If it is to happen again, at least we will have logs and be able to take further action.

Thank you for your patience.

Just an update for those who are following;

Yes we are still alive and still hard at work for the next demo release.
I can't release any details yet, but there will be a lot of new stuff to see!

If you haven't noticed also, I have added more forum categories to the forum so that discussions will be focused and ordered.

There is also a new Newsflash at the top of the page.

Stay tuned!
